On September 16, 2026, a party celebrating the sixth anniversary of Glocal Solutions Japan (GSJ), a general incorporated association, was held at THE BAGUS PLACE in Ginza, Tokyo. Kaz Shingo, CEO of New Connections Co., Ltd., which operates SNI, and Yuji Nakayama, CEO of SNI partner Water X Technologies Co., Ltd., both work with GSJ as certified experts. At the party, Nakayama gave a mini-seminar on automating business operations with AI.
GSJ is a global business support platform that works in both directions, helping Japanese companies expand overseas and helping overseas companies enter the Japanese market. Its certified experts in many fields form a network that supports overseas sales channel development, overseas market research, trade operations and more.
Around 50 people attended, including GSJ board members and certified experts, business owners, professionals such as lawyers and accountants, and others involved in international business.

Representative Director Fukano explained that GSJ will continue its overseas expansion support while moving into a second phase of activity aimed at regional revitalization driven by overseas demand.
Mini-Seminar 1: Using LinkedIn (Kaichi Nakajima)
The first speaker was Kaichi Nakajima, a GSJ certified expert. After working at Funai Electric, Mr. Nakajima started a business in Shanghai, and he now specializes in the use of LinkedIn. He spoke about LinkedIn, the business social network that has become essential for doing business internationally.
Mini-Seminar 2: Business Automation with AI (Yuji Nakayama)
The second speaker was Nakayama, whose talk was titled “AI in Practice: Real-World Automation Cases.” Water X Technologies, which Nakayama heads, helps companies build AI into their business processes, alongside its China sourcing and OEM support.
After explaining the difference between generative AI, which answers questions, and AI agents, which actually carry out tasks, he covered the following points:
- Manual data entry and transcription on a PC can be handed over to AI agents without modifying the systems a company already uses
- The work best suited to automation involves manual entry or transcription, follows nearly the same steps every time, and relies on decision rules that can be put into words
- Cases from manufacturing, construction, real estate and professional services firms that automated order entry, invoice preparation and document sorting
