SNI partner Water X Technologies Co., Ltd. has released introductory videos on YouTube for two of its services: AI Agent Implementation Support and China Sourcing & OEM Support. Each video runs about three minutes and summarizes how the service works, along with real support cases.
(Both videos are in Japanese.)
AI Agent Implementation Support
This service is for companies that want to adopt AI but are unsure where and how to build it into their own operations. After reviewing each company’s work and on-site conditions, Water X proposes an approach to AI tailored to that company, and stays involved beyond implementation until the AI is actually being used in day-to-day work.
The video presents three business improvement cases:
- [Manufacturing] Automated order processing, cutting workload by about 40% (an effect equivalent to 13 million yen a year)
- [Used equipment appraisal] Automated part of the appraisal process for buying used machinery, cutting workload by about 50% (an effect equivalent to about 2.5 million yen a year)
- [Construction] Streamlined back-office work and blog writing, reducing outsourcing costs by 2.52 million yen a year
Implementation proceeds through interviews about current operations, verification with test data, implementation and deployment, and effect measurement with ongoing support. A free assessment of where AI can be used in your business is available; for details, see the AI Agent Implementation Support website (in Japanese).
China Sourcing & OEM Support
This is the China sourcing and OEM support service of JT-TRADING, operated by Water X Technologies. It finds in China the products and materials that cannot be found in Japan, has them made if they do not exist, and delivers them in a form that sells in Japan — all through a single point of contact.
The video introduces three strengths — finding suppliers from a base in Suzhou using information available only in China; engineers with more than 15 years at major Japanese manufacturers assessing suppliers and products based on drawings; and handling everything from supplier research to after-delivery follow-up end to end — along with three support cases:
- Production equipment for a new factory: selected suppliers, obtained quotes, and coordinated specifications and peripheral materials, achieving cost reductions of tens of millions of yen
- Residential electrical products: organized the required specifications, selected suppliers, and provided support through to obtaining PSE certification, which is mandatory in Japan
- A wooden sauna cabin: found a factory in China for a product no one makes in Japan, and coordinated everything from factory tours to sea freight and customs clearance
Inquiries for small lots and one-off items are also welcome. For details, see the China Sourcing & OEM Support page (in Japanese).
If you plan to visit factories in China, note that many services such as Google and LINE are not available there by default. For how to stay connected during your trip, see VPN Life’s guide, VPN vs. eSIM for China Travel.
